FROM OUR GENERAL MANAGER - MR. SAM PILATO
GM'S TOTAL VALUE PROMISE
It has been a little while since I have visited with you. I must admit we have been a little busy. We finished the remodeling of our beautiful dealership and we enjoyed the biggest sale in automotive history, the GM Employee Pricing for Everyone Sale. The success of that program has led to what I believe will be a significant change in the way Americans buy cars and trucks. It's called the "Total Value Promise." I know you've heard about it or read about it.
Total Value Promise means you get more without paying more. Chevrolet has learned that when the car-buying public perceives outstanding value at a fair price, the sale is relatively easy. The goal is to make the list price much closer to the transaction price. This has been accomplished by a drastic lowering of the sticker prices on all our models. You will be amazed to find 2006 models at or below the corresponding prices of earlier models as far back as three or four years!
In addition to lower prices, Chevy has increased content. Many options that we have come to demand are now standard equipment. The old "base model" loss leaders have pretty much disappeared, and you will find our inventory divided into simple stair-step models based on equipment: good, better, best.
Total Value Promise means our salespeople will be more knowledgeable that they have ever been. I have never seen such a regimen of training, testing and certification as is in place now for the new models. Our people are recognized and compensated not only for what they know, but also for the quality of your buying experience. We promise to listen, give you the information you need, complete the transaction, and get you on your way in far less time than it has taken in the past.
I would be remiss if I didn't mention our new Personalization Center, a trendy name for our Accessories Department. Research has taught us most people who buy new cars and trucks like to personalize them with both cosmetic and practical accessories. The problem in the past has been the poor quality of aftermarket goods. Now GM makes its own line of add-ons from 20-inch chrome wheels to bug shields, which carry the full GM warranty, beautifully displayed and easily installed.
Come see us. We've got great accessories and Total Value. We Promise.
